Here are some ways we at Steppingstones can help you with your human resources management and development.

  • Recruitment and selection – development of strategies and programs to make sure your organization recruits and selects the best possible employees. We have some tools that we use to test the compatibility of the prospective employee with his supervisor, team and organization.
  • Manpower and succession planning – smart organizations have a plan in place to develop backup and replacements for key positions. We can help you develop such a plan and process.
  • Performance measurement – we can help you develop performance appraisal systems that will develop and encourage the best performance from your staff.
  • Competency profiles – we have been involved in assessing and defining the knowledge, skills and competencies required to be successful in a number of professions. We are also in the process of developing software programs to manage, track and report on competencies.
  • Exit and attrition studies – if you are having high turnover or attrition of your staff, we can help assess the reasons why and make recommendations to retain your most valued employees.
  • Executive development – every successful organization has effective leadership. We can help you identify those employees with leadership potential and develop individual programs to develop these future leaders.
  • Employee morale studies – satisfied employees are more likely to be productive employees and less likely to leave. We have ways of measuring employee attitudes and satisfaction, and can make recommendations to improve employee morale.

  • Training needs assessments – we can help you assess the training needs of your entire organization, specific units or specific occupations and functions. Our training assessments usually provide information on appropriate content and delivery formats.
  • Training evaluations and follow-up – we conduct evaluations of courses, workshops and other training activities to let you know whether the training is having the desired results, and whether you are getting a satisfactory return on your training investment.
  • Design and development of training materials – we can help you develop quality and effective training materials, including “training the trainer.”
  • Technology-based training – we have the experience and tools to create and produce online e-Learning modules and courses. We also develop and host online tests and quizzes.
