If you or your company are looking for some specific types of training, or if you are a trainer wishing to promote your training services, here are some websites to check out.
- American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) offers a wealth of information and resources on training. They have a supplier directory and access to a database of courses, seminars and workshops.
- Canadian Journal of Workplace Issues, Plans and Strategies has a web site that provides a broad range of information, links and resources on all aspects of human resource management and development.
- CareerTrack is one of the largest suppliers of seminars and workshops. Visit their site for information on upcoming seminars in your area, and information on their many other products and services.
- Society for Applied Learning and Technology (SALT) offers meetings, publications and conferences in the area of instructional technology.
- The Training Report (Canada) has articles and a Canadian suppliers' directory of companies providing training services and products.
- Trade Show Central has a separate database of training conferences, workshops and seminars.
- TCM Training and Development provides many useful links and sources of information for training professionals.
- The Training Registry is a database of training courses and vendors listed by category and topic. A great number of courses are listed in a variety of areas.
- Training and Seminars Locator is a free database designed to help people in business and industry find training, development and education related resources.
- The Training Consortium was set up to market a wide range of training materials and products. They are looking for trainers to list on their site.
